About The Position

The Trade Compliance Operations Export Specialist performs routine clerical and administrative tasks related to trade compliance operations, supporting small to medium trade compliance operations projects. Working independently under supervision in routine situations, this role assists with administrative issues and helps ensure the organization’s trade operations remain compliant through documentation procedures. The position is based in Miami, Florida, with a hybrid workplace arrangement.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office package.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine clerical and administrative tasks related to trade compliance operations.
• Execute cross-border clearance, file export declarations with customs and other government agencies, and support validation and coordination of export transaction requirements across documents and data according to defined procedures and controls.
• Assist with regular audits and assessments of trade transactions to ensure compliance with regulations, customs requirements, and trade agreements.
• Prepare and review trade documents, including invoices, preferential trade documentation, shipping documents, export licenses, and other cross-border documents, for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal and fiscal requirements.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to implement new trade compliance operations solutions.
• Collect, process, prioritize, analyze, and report global trade and compliance data to facilitate cross-border execution and analysis.
• Maintain customs master files and records in support of information management policies.
