About The Position

The Trade Compliance Operations Specialist performs routine clerical and administrative tasks related to trade compliance operations, supporting larger projects. The position works independently under limited supervision in routine situations and assists with administrative issues to help ensure trade operations comply with applicable requirements through established documentation procedures.

The role supports cross-border clearance execution, export declaration filing, export transaction validation and coordination, trade transaction audits, preparation and review of trade documents, collaboration with internal and external partners, analysis and reporting of global trade and compliance data, and maintenance of customs master files and records.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Knowledge of international commercial terms.
• Experience managing SAP and global trade services.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine clerical and administrative tasks for trade compliance operations, including cross-border clearance execution.
• File export declarations with customs and other government agencies.
• Validate and coordinate export transactional requirements across documents and data according to defined procedures and controls.
• Assist with regular audits and assessments of trade transactions for compliance with regulations, customs requirements, and trade agreements.
• Prepare and review invoices, preferential trade documentation, shipping documents, export licenses, and other cross-border documents for accuracy, completeness, and legal and fiscal compliance.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to implement trade compliance operations solutions.
• Collect, process, prioritize, analyze, and report global trade and compliance data to facilitate cross-border execution and analysis.
• Maintain customs master files and records in support of information management policies.
