The Aerospace Corporation•El Segundo, CA
•$95,200 - $142,800•Onsite

About The Position

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Tracking Architecture Performance Engineer for its Tracking Architecture and Performance Department (TAPD), part of the Enterprise Effects Division’s Integrated Performance Subdivision. TAPD conducts model-based analyses of tracking performance across architecture scenarios, including nominal and contested environments. Its work supports concept development, engineering analysis, algorithm development, and evaluation of tracking performance for radar, electro-optical (EO), infrared (IR), electronic warfare (EW), space domain awareness (SDA), and missile warning/missile tracking (MW/MT) systems and architectures. The role performs modeling and analysis of MW/MT/MD sensors, systems, and broader system-of-systems architectures. It uses in-house, custom, commercially available, and government-provided modeling tools to assess sensor concepts, architectures, and algorithms. The engineer also develops and implements tracking algorithms and computer tools, improves modeling and simulation tools, and contributes to systems engineering trades assessments. The position is 100% onsite in El Segundo, California, or Colorado Springs, Colorado.
