About The Position

Hörmann is seeking a Track Panel Assembler I to mechanically assemble tracks and panels, including sectional, rolling steel, and/or fabric doors. The role uses power and hand tools and requires following established procedures and approved processes to produce high-quality products safely and on time. Assemblers use scanners and computers to communicate production order status, provide feedback on process improvements, maintain a clean and safe work area, and flex into other work areas as needed. Overtime may be required when needed.

Requirements

• High attention to detail.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to safely lift or move at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to safely climb stairs or a ladder.
• Ability to work in cold or hot working conditions.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and kneel.

Responsibilities

• Mechanically assemble tracks and/or panels for sectional, rolling steel, and/or fabric doors using power and hand tools.
• Follow established procedures and approved processes to ensure products meet high-quality standards.
• Work safely and fulfill production orders on time to meet product delivery times.
• Use scanners and computers to communicate production order status.
• Provide feedback on process improvement opportunities that could enhance safety, productivity, or efficiency.
• Maintain and improve area cleanliness to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
• Flex into other work areas as needed.
• Work overtime when needed.
