About The Position

Ferrara/KME, part of Terex Corporation, manufactures custom fire trucks and emergency response vehicles. The Assembler I installs and mounts electrical and non-electrical interior and exterior components and hardware, assembles fabricated parts and units, reads blueprints and engineering specifications, and helps ensure safety and manufacturing quality standards are met. The role also involves cleaning and inspecting products for quality.

Requirements

• Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements.
• Ability to use common hand tools and power tools, such as drills, screw guns, and caulk guns.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to communicate professionally and follow directions.
• Successful completion of drug and background screening.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Install and mount non-electrical and electrical interior and exterior components and hardware.
• Assemble fabricated parts, components, or other units at stations.
