TPM - SME Onboarding, Engagement and Voice of Customer

Meta•Menlo Park, CA
•$199,000 - $272,000

About The Position

The ATA XFN team builds a data flywheel that improves Meta’s first-party models for cross-functional professional work. The team captures how subject matter experts (SMEs) in areas such as Finance, Legal, People, and Sales perform their work, structures that work into Skills and training-ready data, and uses it to train first-party models. This Technical Program Manager leads the SME Onboarding, Engagement and Voice of Customer workstream. The role manages the end-to-end process of taking a prioritized workflow, finding the right expert, capturing their work at the required quality, and sharing results with partner organizations. It also gathers SME feedback to improve products and processes. The position is the operational engine of the program and the primary interface to partner organizations, with the goal of creating a repeatable engagement process that can scale across batches without requiring the team to hand-hold each expert.

  • 7+ years of software engineering, systems engineering, hardware engineering, or technical product/program management experience.
  • Experience delivering technical programs from inception to delivery.

  • Organizational, coordination, and multitasking experience.
  • Analytical and problem-solving experience, including defining metrics and building dashboards to track progress.

  • Experience designing onboarding or enablement motions that scale to new teams without bespoke support.
  • Familiarity with data privacy and compliance handling for sensitive workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize or redesign workflows and drive measurable impact, such as efficiency gains or quality improvements.
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices, such as risk assessment, bias mitigation, and quality and accuracy reviews.
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development, such as prompt and context engineering or agent orchestration, and staying current with emerging AI technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Run the SME engagement lifecycle, including identification, onboarding, scheduling, and capture, so experts can progress from nomination to completed demonstration.
  • Plan and run recording batches by defining plans, setting volume and quality targets by domain, tracking progress on a dashboard, and driving steady week-over-week velocity.
  • Own the workflow validation process with SMEs, ensuring workflows are accurate, appropriately grained, and ready for capture.
  • Manage partner communications, including roadmaps, batch results, and regular updates to ATA XFN pod points of contact and partner function leads.
  • Own intake and prioritization of inbound partner requests, route work to the appropriate domain workstream, and maintain a single entry point for partners.
  • Run quality reviews of captured demonstrations, incorporate follow-up learnings into subsequent batches, and route failures to the appropriate owner.
  • Build self-serve onboarding playbooks, guides, and tooling that allow a new function to get started in under a week.
  • Track demonstrations and validations per batch by domain, report against targets, and surface risks early.
  • Partner with Engineering and Product on capture tooling, ensuring it works for non-engineer experts and representing SME feedback as product requirements.
  • Ensure sensitive workflows are captured within privacy and compliance guardrails, working with privacy tooling and review partners.
  • Own the qualitative feedback loop and establish the Voice of Customer workstream by collecting input from experts and partner teams, routing it to the appropriate owners, and tracking it through resolution.
