About The Position

Toyota Certified Service Technicians service and repair vehicles according to established standards and procedures. They may also perform pre-delivery service on new vehicles to ensure they are in excellent working order. The role focuses on delivering high-quality service and maintaining customer satisfaction in a fast-paced, professional team environment. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. The company offers competitive pay, pays for additional automotive certification training and requirements for Toyota Certified Technicians, and provides a $10,000 signing bonus paid in installments: $2,500 upon hire, $2,500 after completing 500 hours, and $5,000 after one year of employment.

Requirements

• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record.
• Professional and dependable.

• Basic computer and internet skills.
• Ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.
• For Master Certified Technicians: dealer-level or large-facility experience.
• For Master Certified Technicians: strong automotive mechanical and electrical knowledge and work experience.
• Strong technical performance record, positive attitude, professional appearance, good communication skills, and ability to provide world-class customer service.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• Post-secondary automotive training.
• Dealer-level or large-facility experience.
• Additional certifications, such as National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle issues using experience, analysis, and testing.
• Maintain the highest possible level of training as a Master Certified Technician.
• Keep vehicles clean while performing service or repairs.
• Complete required documentation in compliance with regulations and standards.
• Follow shop policies, procedures, safety rules, and environmental rules.
• Attend required staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
