About The Position

Lewis Brisbois is seeking an attorney to join its Toxic Tort & Environmental Practice in its Los Angeles, California office. The practice represents clients in toxic tort and environmental matters in state, federal, and administrative hearings and trials, including Superfund multi-site litigation and coordinated Federal Multi-District Litigation. Its clients include generators, landowners, municipalities, site operators, individuals, partnerships, closely held and multinational corporations, governmental agencies, manufacturing and real estate development companies, and domestic and foreign insurance carriers. The firm is also frequently selected as National Counsel in mass tort and products liability litigation, including asbestos, automotive rollover, and dietary supplement cases. The firm is open to attorneys with toxic tort and environmental experience as well as talented developing attorneys with substantive litigation experience and an interest in the practice area. Requirements

One to seven years of experience in all phases of toxic tort and environmental litigation, including case management, motion practice, and discovery.
Strong research and writing skills.
Admission to the California Bar is required.
Substantive litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in toxic tort and environmental law; the firm is also interested in developing attorneys with strong litigation skills.
