About The Position

Lewis Brisbois is seeking an attorney to join its Toxic Tort & Environmental Practice in its San Bernardino, California office. The practice represents clients in toxic tort and environmental matters in state, federal, and administrative hearings and trials, including Superfund multi-site litigation and coordinated Federal Multi-District Litigation. Clients include generators, landowners, municipalities, site operators, individuals, partnerships, closely held corporations, Fortune 500 companies, governmental agencies, manufacturing and real estate development companies, and domestic and foreign insurance carriers. The firm is also frequently selected as National Counsel in mass tort and products liability litigation. The firm is interested in attorneys with toxic tort and environmental law experience, as well as developing attorneys with substantive litigation experience, excellent skills in a litigation arena, and a demonstrated interest in toxic tort and environmental law. This is an opportunity to work in a growing, collaborative firm. The listed annual salary range is $135,000 to $180,000.

Requirements

Admission to the California Bar.
Strong research and writing skills.
One to seven years of experience in all phases of toxic tort and environmental litigation, including case management, motion practice, discovery, hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.
Alternatively, substantive litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in toxic tort and environmental law.
