About The Position

The St. Louis, Missouri office of Lewis Brisbois is seeking an attorney to join its Toxic Tort & Environmental Practice. The firm represents clients in toxic tort and environmental matters in state, federal, and administrative hearings and trials, including Superfund multi-site litigation and coordinated Federal Multi-District Litigation. Its clients include generators, landowners, municipalities, site operators, individuals, partnerships, closely held corporations, Fortune 500 companies, governmental agencies, manufacturing and real estate development companies, and domestic and foreign insurance carriers. The firm is also frequently selected as National Counsel in mass tort and products liability litigation. The firm is interested in candidates with toxic tort and environmental experience, as well as developing attorneys with substantive litigation experience, strong skills, and a demonstrated interest in toxic tort and environmental law. Requirements

At least one to seven years of experience in all phases of toxic tort and environmental litigation, including case management, motion practice, and discovery.
Experience handling hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.
Admission to the Missouri State Bar is required.
Strong research and writing skills.
Substantive litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in toxic tort and environmental law.
