Toxic Tort/Asbestos Associate Attorney
About The Position
Lewis Brisbois is seeking an attorney to join its Toxic Tort and Asbestos practices in its Philadelphia, Pennsylvania office. The role involves toxic tort and asbestos litigation. The firm has extensive experience defending exposure claims involving asbestos, benzene, diacetyl, carbon monoxide, and other chemical products, and represents clients in state and federal courts nationwide as national coordinating counsel, regional counsel, and local counsel. The firm welcomes attorneys with toxic tort experience as well as developing attorneys with substantive litigation experience, excellent skills in another litigation arena, and a demonstrated interest in toxic tort law. The firm describes the opportunity as part of a growing, collaborative practice.
Requirements
- Strong research and writing skills.
- One to seven years of experience in all phases of toxic tort and asbestos litigation, including case management, motion practice, and discovery, as well as handling hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.
- Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar and New Jersey Bar is required.
- Substantive litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in toxic tort law are relevant for attorneys developing in this practice.
