About The Position

We are committed to delivering an exceptional experience through our people, processes, and technology. We are currently seeking skilled and dedicated Class B or A tow truck drivers to join our team. Copart drivers are responsible for bringing vehicles, primarily damaged ones, from various sources like shops, tow yards, and private residences to our local Copart locations. Additionally, drivers will have the opportunity to travel nationwide for catastrophe response, including hurricanes, flooding, and natural disasters, as well as to support other Copart locations across the country. We offer competitive pay and benefits in the towing industry, with a piece rate-based pay system that allows for potential earnings of $75,000+ annually, and top performers earning over $100,000.

Requirements

• Must meet background screening criteria
• Must possess a Class A or B Driver's License issued by your state of residence
• Travel will be required including traveling by airplane at times
• Must be able to work long hours 12+ hours per day when needed
• Be able to travel with 24 hours or less notice
• Ability to work in extreme conditions, weather, and terrain.

Nice To Haves

• Previous towing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Must be willing to travel nationally on short notice for extended periods of time
• Deploy to catastrophe events within 24 hours when directed to do so
• Pick-up and delivery of vehicles to designated Copart facility
• Load/unload vehicles safely and free of damage
• Operate company equipment in compliance with safety regulations
• Commitment to safety, productivity, and professionalism
• Maintain Hours of Service logs
• Maintain and assure good operating condition of all equipment and facilities
• Other tasks as assigned by the manager in support of daily operations
