About The Position

ATOW is hiring experienced wheel-lift and flatbed tow truck operators in Atlanta, Georgia. The role offers a gross weekly base pay of $1,120 for a fully worked 60-hour week, including scheduled overtime, plus commission earning potential for qualifying completed work. Operators receive the higher of their base hourly earnings or commission earnings, with both calculations available for comparison; additional overtime required by law is paid. Operators who consistently demonstrate safety, reliability, professionalism, and strong performance may be considered for ATOW’s Special Response Team (SRT), with membership dependent on selection and maintained through continued performance, required training, and compliance with team standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate assigned wheel-lift or flatbed equipment.
• Assess each scene and follow proper loading, securement, towing, and unloading procedures.
• Follow dispatch assignments and communicate promptly about progress, delays, and safety concerns.
• Complete accurate photographs, vehicle-condition records, and call documentation.
• Inspect and care for the truck and equipment, reporting defects promptly.
