About The Position

The Tour Guide is a guest-facing member of Minnesota United FC’s Stadium Operations department, based at Allianz Field in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This part-time role delivers engaging, informative, and memorable stadium tours for a wide variety of audiences. Tour Guides share stories, history, and behind-the-scenes access while representing the Club with professionalism, energy, and pride. The position reports to the Special Events Specialist. The role leads public, private, educational, full-stadium, and special event tours. It also involves preparing tour routes and learning spaces, following stadium safety procedures, and creating welcoming experiences for guests of all ages and backgrounds. The hourly compensation range is $16.50–$18.50. Part-time employees receive a merchandise discount and opportunities for rewards and recognition; the Club also emphasizes career development and advancement.

Requirements

Prior experience as a tour guide, educator, or in a guest-facing role.
Comfort speaking confidently in front of large groups.
Strong communication and storytelling skills.
Ability to engage and connect with guests of all ages and backgrounds.
Flexible availability, including weekdays, weekends, and varying tour schedules.

Responsibilities

Lead engaging full-stadium and special event tours for groups of varying sizes, ages, and interests.
Deliver public, private, and educational tours, including tours for school groups and youth organizations.
Share accurate, compelling information about the stadium, Club history, team, and operations.
Create a welcoming and inclusive experience for guests of all ages.
Follow stadium guidelines, safety procedures, and tour protocols.
Assist with preparing tour routes, checking access points, and ensuring spaces are ready.
Set up and prepare classroom or learning spaces for educational tours.
Serve as a positive ambassador for the Club by answering questions and engaging with guests throughout their visit.
