About The Position

The Tortilla Molinero is responsible for maintaining a well-stocked and well-maintained department while providing superior customer service. The role prepares, packages, and merchandises fresh products daily while upholding company core values. The position also involves operating tortilla machinery, counting, bagging, and labeling tortilla batches, and keeping shelves and display tables stocked.

Requirements

• Valid Food Handlers Card.
• Ability to walk continuously throughout the shift while moving about the store and handling merchandise.
• Ability to stand continuously throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service and retail experience are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain department quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, store-condition, and food-safety standards.
• Operate tortilla processing machinery.
• Count, bag, and label tortilla batches.
• Maintain fully stocked shelves and display tables.
• Engage with customers and demonstrate personal customer-service excellence.
• Improve the speed and efficiency of service.
• Meet expectations of internal and external customers and build positive team relationships.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
