About The Position

The Tortilla Clerk provides quality customer service in a retail store environment and serves as a role model for the company by delivering excellent service while maintaining its core values. The role involves assisting customers, keeping tortilla products displayed and stocked, weighing and labeling products accurately, maintaining department standards, and using professional tortilla department equipment. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Valid Food Handlers Card.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers to address questions or concerns in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Organize products in display cases and on tables, ensuring cases are fully stocked.
• Use knowledge of scales and weight measures to accurately weigh and label products.
• Maintain standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, department conditions, and food safety.
• Work with professional tortilla department equipment.
• Demonstrate personal customer service excellence and engage with customers.
• Improve the speed and efficiency of service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
