About The Position

The Tortilla Clerk delivers quality customer service in a retail store environment and serves as a role model for the company by providing excellent customer service while maintaining company core values. The role involves interacting with customers, organizing and stocking products, accurately weighing and labeling products, maintaining department standards, and working with tortilla department equipment.

Requirements

• Valid Food Handlers Card.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers to address questions or concerns in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Organize products in display cases and on tables, ensuring cases are fully stocked.
• Use knowledge of scales and weight measures to accurately weigh and label products.
• Maintain standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, department conditions, and food safety.
• Work with professional tortilla department equipment.
• Demonstrate personal customer service excellence and engage with customers.
• Improve the speed and efficiency of service provided.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
