About The Position

The Tortilla Clerk provides quality customer service in a retail store environment and serves as a role model for the company by delivering excellent customer service while maintaining company core values. The role includes assisting customers, keeping product displays stocked and organized, accurately weighing and labeling products, maintaining department standards, and working with tortilla department equipment.

Requirements

• Valid Food Handlers Card.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers in a friendly, service-oriented manner to address questions or concerns.
• Organize products in display cases and on tables, ensuring cases are fully stocked.
• Use scales and knowledge of weight measures to weigh and label products accurately.
• Maintain standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, department conditions, and food safety.
• Work with professional tortilla department equipment.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and engage with customers throughout interactions.
• Improve the speed and efficiency of service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
