About The Position

Halliburton is hiring for Tool Tech I, Tool Tech II, or Tool Tech III roles in Completion Tools, depending on the candidate’s education, experience, skill level, and business needs. This is an entry-level position in the tool tech family. Under strict supervision, the position performs maintenance and repair work on down-hole tools, surface equipment, and other production equipment used in down-hole tool applications. The work includes assembling and disassembling this equipment.

The role promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, complies with applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations, and supports compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) guidelines. It also promotes and actively participates in quality improvement. Effective communication and basic mathematical calculation skills are needed for oil field service work.

Requirements

• Basic reading comprehension and writing skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Nice To Haves

• Basic computer skills are preferred.
• Licensure to drive commercial equipment may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance functions, including repairs, on down-hole tools, surface equipment, and other production equipment used in down-hole tool applications.
• Assemble and disassemble down-hole tools, surface equipment, and other production equipment.
• Promote safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and comply with applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.
• Promote and actively participate in the quality improvement process.
