About The Position

As a member of the Guest Arrival team at Busch Gardens, the Toll Plaza Ambassador helps create a smooth, welcoming experience for guests as they arrive. The role involves greeting guests at the Toll Plaza, verifying or processing parking for park entry, helping traffic flow efficiently, and providing friendly service. Ambassadors may also work in other areas of the Guest Arrival team as needed. The position requires working indoors and outdoors in varying weather and performing physical tasks throughout the shift.

Requirements

At least 16 years of age.
Passion for customer service.
Outstanding communication and problem-solving abilities.
Active listening skills and the ability to anticipate guests’ needs.
Ability to work as part of a team to promote and ensure a safe and secure environment.
Basic computer skills, including Windows and Microsoft programs.
Flexibility to perform varied duties.
Ability to process monetary transactions and accurately use a register.
Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
Ability to walk and stand extensively throughout the entire work shift.
Ability to kneel, squat, bend from floor to waist and waist to overhead, reach overhead, and perform simple grasping and fine hand manipulation tasks, such as using tools, a keyboard, or writing.
Willingness to comply with SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather, including extreme heat, and tolerate potential exposure to fumes, dust, odors, loud noises, vibrations, motion, and temperature extremes.
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including opening, mid, and closing shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Greet guests at the Toll Plaza and efficiently verify or process parking for park entry.
Process transactions in a fast and friendly manner.
Follow all point-of-sale (POS) policies and procedures.
Work as part of a team to increase productivity while providing excellent guest service.
Practice safe work habits, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and report unsafe situations.
Work in other areas of the Guest Arrival team as needed.
Perform cleaning duties, including using cleaning chemicals.
