About The Position

The Learning Experience seeks an Infant and Toddler Preschool Teacher to create opportunities that reflect its mission to make a difference in the lives of children, their families, and communities. Teachers use a growth mindset to support children’s development and inspire a love of learning. The teacher leads classroom operations and provides a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children, implementing the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® in ways that meet each child’s needs. The role also involves communicating with families and partnering with center staff and leadership to support enrollment and engagement goals.

Requirements

At least 2 years of professional teaching experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree or higher in early childhood education (ECE) or a related field.
CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers in the classroom by modeling behaviors and providing feedback.
Manage the classroom and lead a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
Serve as a role model and use a growth mindset to support children’s development and love of learning.
Implement the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children, adapting to each child’s needs.
Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
Communicate regularly with parents about children’s activities and achievements through mobile apps and personal discussions.
Partner with center staff and leadership to support center goals around enrollment and engagement.
Build relationships with families and coworkers and create an environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
