About The Position

Primrose School of Nashville 12 South is seeking an enthusiastic Toddler Teacher to plan and implement an ongoing program of activities that supports each child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning® approach. The teacher creates a fun, safe, and well-kept classroom where children can explore, make decisions, build motor skills, develop vocabulary, and grow their curiosity and love of learning. The role involves building genuine relationships with children and working with a co-teacher to implement research-informed lesson plans. The school provides a stocked classroom, training, clear daily plans, and support from the Leadership Team. Primrose School of Nashville 12 South is an accredited private preschool offering year-round programs for children from infancy through elementary-aged school age.

Requirements

Meet the basic requirements of the local child care regulatory agency.
Be 21 years of age or older.
Have knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children.
Be able to lift up to 35 pounds in connection with handling children, facilitating programs, maintaining child safety, and responding to potential emergencies.

Nice To Haves

Experience in early childhood education or a related field.
A two-year degree in early childhood education or a related field.
