About The Position

Merryhill Preschool is seeking an energetic and nurturing full-time Toddler Teacher to join its early childhood education team. The toddler program supports children’s development through discovery and play, with a focus on curiosity, confidence, independence, and essential early learning skills. The teacher creates a safe, engaging classroom and helps toddlers explore the world around them. The position requires frequent movement and interaction, including walking, standing, sitting, squatting, stooping, reaching, kneeling, rising from the floor, twisting, listening, reading, writing, and speaking English. It also often involves carrying, lifting, repetitive or fine hand movements, and occasionally pushing, pulling, or bending. Regular hearing and clear vision, with or without correction, are required. Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have an awarded high school diploma or GED.
• Awarded PDIS Level 2 or higher.
• At least 6 months of prior experience working in a licensed childcare center.
• A passion for early learning, creativity, and helping children discover new skills each day.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
