Toddler Teacher
About The Position
The Toddler Teacher fosters curiosity, creativity, compassion, and a lifelong love of learning in young children. The role focuses on building genuine relationships with each child and working with a co-teacher to implement lesson plans from Primrose’s research-informed Balanced Learning® curriculum. Teachers maintain a well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore, and make confident decisions, and adapt their teaching to help each child learn about the world around them. Primrose School of West Allen provides classroom materials, clear daily plans, training, and support from the Leadership Team. The school aims to maintain a safe, healthy environment and a positive, supportive culture for children and team members. Compensation is $15.00–$17.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Build genuine relationships with each child.
- Work with a co-teacher to implement lesson plans from the Balanced Learning® curriculum.
- Maintain a well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore, and make decisions confidently.
- Discover and use approaches that work best for each child while teaching them about the world around them.
