About The Position

Villa Montessori is seeking a Toddler Lead Teacher to provide an authentic Montessori experience in partnership with fellow teachers and families. The teacher supports children as they develop independence, confidence, and a strong sense of community, and guides them through self-directed activities. The role involves supervising children ages 16 months to 6 years, supporting individual and small groups, communicating with parents, and caring for the classroom and its materials. The position is based at the Polaris center, offers full-time or part-time employment, pays $17–$20.50 per hour, and has no evening or weekend work.

Requirements

Montessori Teacher Certification, such as AMS, AMI, or NAMC.
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and remain organized.
Ability to work within regular operating hours.
Must meet state criteria for child care employment.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience in a licensed child care facility is preferred.

Responsibilities
