Assistant Toddler Teacher-Montessori
About The Position
Bergamo Montessori at Serrano, part of the Endeavor Schools family, is hiring an Assistant Toddler Teacher. The role supports implementation of age-appropriate curriculum, preparation and organization of learning materials, and supervision of children during activities, meals, and naptime to maintain a safe, positive learning environment. The teacher helps lead learning activities, monitors children’s progress and development, and contributes to a harmonious environment for children and colleagues. ECE class sponsorship may be available for candidates interested in a career in early childhood education. The stated pay range is $19.00–$21.00 per hour, depending on education and experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center.
- Prior experience with toddler and preschool students.
- Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet.
- 12 Child Development Units are required, including 3 units in an Infant/Toddler Development course.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Patience, a nurturing attitude, and a sincere interest in the well-being and development of young learners.
