About The Position

Bergamo Montessori at Serrano is seeking an Assistant Toddler Teacher to help create a safe, positive learning environment for young children. The role assists with implementing age-appropriate curriculum, preparing and organizing learning materials, and supervising children during activities, meals, and naptime. The teacher supports children’s development and well-being while helping create a harmonious environment for children and colleagues.

The school offers a supportive environment and resources for educators, along with education incentives and career development programs. ECE class sponsorship may be available for candidates interested in a career in early childhood education. Starting pay is $19.00–$21.00 per hour, depending on education and experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in early childhood education in a certified child development center.
• Prior experience with toddler and preschool students.
• 12 Child Development Units, including 3 units in an Infant/Toddler Development course.
• Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Patience, a nurturing attitude, and a sincere interest in the well-being and development of young learners.
