About The Position
Guidepost Montessori is hiring an Assistant Guide for its school in The Woodlands in Spring, Texas. The Assistant Guide supports a mixed-age Montessori classroom serving infants, toddlers, and children ages 3–6, helping create a calm, engaging environment where children can explore, learn, and grow at their own pace. The role includes preparing intentional learning spaces and supporting individualized and small-group activities with respect, patience, and care. The Assistant Guide helps children build confidence and independence while working collaboratively with Lead Guides, fellow team members, and families.
Requirements
- Experience working with children ages 0–6 in a school or childcare setting.
- A positive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset.
- A genuine love for working with young children.
- Interest in learning and growing within the Montessori approach.
Nice To Haves
- Prior Montessori experience.
