About The Position

The Centralized Title Group reviews vehicle titles to ensure they and supporting documentation adhere to state guidelines. This group is also responsible for underwriting all titles from multiple acquisition platforms for Drivetime automotive purchases to guarantee title negotiability and transfer across all 50 states. The Titles Coordinator will apply underwriting guidelines to ensure title and all supporting documents adhere to multi-state rules for title acceptance. They will partner and maintain effective communication and consistent follow-up with all acquisition platforms, DMVs, vendors, and dealerships to identify and resolve title encumbrances to seamlessly transfer title to Drivetime customers. The role adheres to internal requirements for specialized processing to support inventory movement, audits and maintains the integrity of title movement through systematic updates to ensure titles and vehicles move within designated timeframes, and secures and maintains title and supporting documentation to guarantee timely distribution to dealerships, auctions, vendors and insurance companies based on vehicle disposition. The position requires the ability to learn and utilize Excel based applications for daily workflow in addition to multiple databases and meet daily production expectations while maintaining high levels of accuracy.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Prior Titles experience a plus (or a role that required high attention to detail)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to talk and write with confidence, charisma and competence for a wide variety of audiences including management.

  • This team works out of our Operations Center in East Mesa.

Responsibilities
