About The Position

OneMain Financial is seeking a Title Specialist to help maintain a high-performing auto-secured loan portfolio rating for its branch network and centralized accounts. The work involves administrative and customer-service tasks related to the company’s lienholder interest in customers’ auto property. The specialist works with branch personnel, internal teams, and external customers or vendors, and maintains knowledge of company policies and procedures as well as state and federal laws.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of customer service experience.
• Ability to review loan and title documents in a timely fashion.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in auto titling and/or lending.

Responsibilities

• Identify, sort, and process mail related to OneMain’s lienholder interest in customers’ auto property.
• Answer phone and email inquiries from the branch network about lien placement and the third-party vendor system.
• Identify anomalies or complex issues and escalate them to support a timely, seamless process.
• Partner with the branch network to improve lien perfection rates on auto-secured loans.
• Serve as a liaison among internal and external customers and vendors, including communicating with Centralized Sales, Underwriting, and branch personnel.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of OneMain’s policies and procedures and applicable state and federal laws.
• Review loan and title documents in a timely manner.
