About The Position

The Title I Educational Assistant (Behavior Support) supports students in a school setting. The position is Grade G and provides 7.5 hours per day over 196 days per year. The shift spans eight hours, with the start and end times to be determined during interviews. Applicants must meet one of the listed highly qualified standards for paraprofessionals.

Requirements

• Meet one of the highly qualified standards for paraprofessionals: high school education or equivalency plus either 48 or more semester credits from an accredited institution of higher education demonstrating proficiency in reading, writing, and math; an associate's degree or higher; or a passing score on the ETS ParaPathways (5757) Assessment.
• Applicants who do not meet the college-credit or degree qualifications should include their high school diploma or equivalent with their application and contact Jacklyn Winegarden for information about the assessment.
• Applicants without the required college credit must pass the assessment before being eligible for an interview.
