About The Position

The Sales & Service position is responsible for tire and wheel sales, service, and maintenance; providing excellent customer service; and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct. On-the-job training is available for a variety of skills. The role includes installing and maintaining tires and wheels, repairing and rotating tires, inflating tires, attaching and rebalancing wheels, servicing TPMS, washing tires and wheels, testing and installing batteries, maintaining and using equipment, assisting other employees, test-driving vehicles, and operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services. The technician also provides customer service, promotes store sales, and uses the Best Tire Value Promise to engage customers. The listed pay range is $16.50–$28.00. Benefits for full-time positions are available after eligibility criteria are met and are subject to change and governed by plan documents and company policy.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
Frequent lifting of weights between 35 and 75 pounds.
Frequent bending, twisting, and kneeling, and continuous squatting, reaching, walking, and standing.

Responsibilities

Install and maintain tires and wheels.
Repair and rotate tires and inflate them.
Attach and rebalance wheels.
Install or rebuild TPMS, and relearn or calibrate it.
Wash tires and wheels.
Test and install batteries.
Use and maintain equipment.
Assist other employees.
Test-drive vehicles.
