About The Position

The Sales & Service position is responsible for the sales, service, and maintenance of tires and wheels. The technician provides excellent customer service and completes work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct. The role includes tire and wheel installation and maintenance, tire repair, rotation and inflation, wheel attachment and rebalancing, TPMS installation or rebuilding and relearning or calibration, tire and wheel washing, battery testing and installation, equipment use and maintenance, assisting other employees, test driving vehicles, and operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services. The technician also promotes store sales and uses the Best Tire Value Promise to engage customers. The listed pay range is $16.50–$26.45. For full-time positions, benefits are available after eligibility criteria are met and are subject to change and governed by plan documents and Company policy. Higher minimum wage applies in applicable locations.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
Frequent lifting of 35–75 pounds.
Frequent bending, twisting, and kneeling, and continuous squatting, reaching, walking, and standing.

Responsibilities

Install and maintain tires and wheels.
Repair, rotate, and inflate tires.
Attach and rebalance wheels.
Install or rebuild TPMS and relearn or calibrate it.
Wash tires and wheels.
Test and install batteries.
Use and maintain equipment.
Assist other employees.
Test drive vehicles.
Operate service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
