About The Position
Rocky Mountain Care - The Lodge/Heber City is seeking a Dietary Cook to work in its Culinary Services department. The position prepares food for meal service and supports dietary needs and preferences of residents. The role is part-time at Rocky Mountain Care-The Lodge in Heber City, Utah.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Current/active Food Handlers Permit.
- High school diploma preferred.
- Food service experience is preferred but not required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of dietary/food service experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility is preferred, but not necessary.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food for meal service according to the menu.
- Operate institutional food preparation equipment according to manufacturer instructions and supervisory direction.
- Follow proper cleaning and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Accommodate resident food allergies and preferences.
- Attend assigned in-service education programs.
- Empty trash containers.
- Perform cleaning tasks as scheduled.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
