About The Position
Rocky Mountain Care - The Lodge/Heber City is seeking a Dietary Cook for its Culinary Services department. The Cook prepares food for meal service according to the menu, operates institutional food preparation equipment, follows cleaning and preventive-maintenance schedules, and accommodates residents’ food allergies and preferences. The role also includes attending assigned in-service education programs, emptying trash containers, completing scheduled cleaning tasks, and performing other assigned duties. Food-service experience is preferred but not required. A high school diploma and supervisory dietary or food-service experience in a related medical facility are preferred but not required.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a current, active Food Handlers Permit.
Nice To Haves
- Food-service experience is preferred but not required.
- A high school diploma is preferred.
- One year of dietary or food-service experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility is preferred but not necessary.
