About The Position
The Sales & Service position is responsible for tire and wheel sales, service, and maintenance. The technician provides excellent customer service and completes work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct. The role includes tire and wheel installation and maintenance, related equipment use, customer sales support, and offsite or emergency road service. On-the-job training is offered.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a rapid-pace environment.
- Frequent lifting of 35–75 pounds.
- Frequent bending, twisting, and kneeling, and continuous squatting, reaching, walking, and standing.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain tires and wheels.
- Repair, rotate, and inflate tires; attach and rebalance wheels.
- Install or rebuild tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS), or relearn and calibrate them.
- Wash tires and wheels.
- Test and install batteries.
- Use and maintain equipment.
- Assist other employees.
- Test-drive vehicles.
- Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
- Provide excellent customer service and promote store sales.
