About The Position

Flynn’s Tire is hiring entry-level Tire Technicians at its Akron, Ohio location. No automotive experience or degree is required. The company provides paid training, hands-on coaching, and ongoing support. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with opportunities to develop skills and advance into roles such as Master Tire Technician, Service Manager, or Store Manager. The role involves tire installation, rotation, balancing, and repair, along with inspections and basic maintenance. Technicians work with tools and equipment in a fast-paced shop environment, assist customers, and help maintain a clean and safe workplace.

Requirements

• Acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) and background check.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to lift 20–80 lbs.
• No experience required.
• A degree is not required; one is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, rotate, balance, and repair tires.
• Inspect tires and wheels for wear, damage, and proper inflation.
• Perform tire pressure checks and basic maintenance services.
• Safely operate tools and equipment in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist customers with tire service needs in a professional manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment while developing hands-on automotive skills.
