Tire Technician Full Time $1000 Sign on Bonus!
About The Position
The Tire Technician assists members with selecting and purchasing tires, verifies vehicle tire sizes, and installs and repairs tires. The role includes mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing tires; completing tire bay scheduling information and sales and service documentation; maintaining inventory and tire displays; and keeping the tire bay and waiting area clean, professional, and safe. The technician provides knowledgeable service at the tire desk, uses available special-order tire programs, and coordinates with the Home Office about member tire needs as necessary. Other duties may be assigned, including work in other departments. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function. The position is full-time and offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills.
- Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance.

- Prior tire installation experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist members in selecting and purchasing tires, including verifying tire sizes for vehicles.
- Install tires by mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing them; perform tire repairs.
- Properly dispose of tires and fill propane tanks as needed if certified under DOT requirements.
- Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
- Provide knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk and coordinate with the Home Office regarding member tire needs as needed.
- Maintain an accurate and complete supply inventory and use available special-order tire programs appropriately.
- Maintain a clean, professional, and safe tire bay and waiting area; merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
- Comply with club policies, procedures, safety requirements, and cleanliness standards, and properly use tire bay equipment.
- Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
- Deliver member service, address and de-escalate member concerns, and contribute to a safe and positive environment.
- Work collaboratively to meet club standards, maintain accurate signage, keep areas clean and organized, and execute stocking and promotional plans.
