Tire Technician Full Time $1000 Sign on Bonus
About The Position
The Tire Technician assists members with selecting and purchasing tires, installs and repairs tires, completes tire bay documentation, and maintains tire bay policies and procedures. The role includes mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing tires; maintaining tire displays, supplies, and work areas; and providing knowledgeable service at the tire desk. The technician follows club policies, safety and cleanliness standards, and supports other departments as needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job. The position involves working around moving vehicles, machinery, and loud equipment, with exposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions and occasional company-approved chemicals and cleaning agents. Work is primarily spent standing and moving on hard surfaces and includes frequent bending, climbing, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, reaching, and lifting.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills.
- Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance.

- Prior tire installation experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist members in selecting and purchasing tires, including verifying vehicle tire sizes.
- Install tires by mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing them; perform tire repairs as needed.
- Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
- Maintain a clean and professional tire bay and waiting area, and comply with safety and cleanliness standards.
- Merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
- Provide knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk and coordinate with the Home Office about member tire needs as needed.
- Maintain accurate and complete supply inventory.
- Use available special-order tire programs appropriately.
- Dispose of tires properly and fill propane tanks as needed when certified under DOT requirements.
- Use tire bay equipment properly and follow club policies and procedures.
- Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
