About The Position

The Sales & Service position is responsible for the sales, service, and maintenance of tires and wheels. The role provides excellent customer service and completes work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct. It includes tire installation and maintenance, repairs, rotations, inflation, wheel balancing, TPMS service, battery work, equipment use, test driving, and offsite or emergency road services. The employee also assists coworkers, promotes store sales, and uses the Best Tire Value Promise to engage customers. Les Schwab offers on-the-job training.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting of weights between 35 and 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, and kneeling, and continuous squatting, reaching, walking, and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain tires and wheels.
• Repair, rotate, and inflate tires.
• Attach and rebalance wheels.
• Install or rebuild TPMS and relearn or calibrate TPMS as needed.
• Wash tires and wheels.
• Test and install batteries.
• Use and maintain equipment.
• Assist other employees.
• Test drive vehicles.
• Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Provide excellent customer service and promote store sales.
• Use the Best Tire Value Promise to engage customers.
• Complete work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.
