About The Position

As a Service Technician at Gills Point S, you’ll help keep customers safe on the road by performing tire services, inspections, and basic automotive maintenance. The company provides training and support for candidates who are experienced or eager to learn. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in an active shop environment.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Team player who enjoys helping customers.
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate shop equipment and work both inside the shop and outdoors in varying weather conditions while following company safety policies.

Nice To Haves

• Automotive or tire experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair tires.
• Inspect vehicles for tire wear, damage, and basic maintenance concerns.
• Assist customers with tire recommendations and service needs.
• Perform basic vehicle services and safety inspections.
• Operate shop equipment safely and efficiently.
• Help maintain inventory, shop cleanliness, and organization.
• Work as part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
