Tire Technician

About The Position
Tire Technicians work in a fast-paced environment, maintain clean places, and interact with customers and drivers. The role involves selling, removing, and replacing tires—including tires for commercial vehicles—in the shop and through roadside service. Technicians also help repair equipment and maintain the store facility, including general housekeeping. Love’s provides training, so prior experience is not required.
Requirements
- Ability to move and lift 75+ pounds while working in close quarters.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
- Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires, including tires for commercial vehicles, in the shop and through roadside service.
- Repair equipment and maintain the store facility, including general housekeeping.
- Put customer safety and satisfaction first and comply with company safety policies and procedures.
- Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
- Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation; the cost is paid by Love’s.
