About The Position

The Tire Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing tires for Modern Disposal’s commercial fleet. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The company seeks team-oriented individuals interested in building a career. The role also includes roadside assistance for breakdowns as needed and maintaining a clean, professional work area. Other job-related duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver license.
• Ability to demonstrate strong work tenure.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to work well both as a team member and independently.
• Ability to work efficiently and maximize productivity.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, and balance all tire types.
• Inspect tires and maintain inflation at the prescribed PSI.
• Determine whether tires can be repaired and complete repairs when appropriate.
• Maintain tire and supply inventory.
• Complete paperwork associated with repairs.
• Inspect completed repairs to ensure tires are properly replaced before returning vehicles to the fleet.
• Provide roadside assistance for breakdowns as needed.
• Maintain a clean and professional work area.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
