About The Position
Brake & Alignment Technicians service and install brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components. They provide excellent customer service and complete work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct. The role may include offsite and emergency road service work. On-the-job training is provided.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment.
- Frequent lifting of up to 35 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds.
- Frequent bending, twisting, and kneeling; continuous squatting, reaching, walking, and standing.
Responsibilities
- Install or service hydraulic and electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drivetrain, and power steering parts and components.
- Test and install batteries.
- Dismount and mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, and replace, rebuild, or recalibrate TPMS components.
- Use service equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
- Assist other employees.
- Test-drive vehicles.
- Operate service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
- Provide excellent customer service and refer customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
- Complete work in accordance with company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.
