Tire Sales & Installation Team Member Part Time
About The Position
The Tire Sales & Installation Team Member assists members with selecting and purchasing tires, installs and repairs tires, completes tire bay documentation, and maintains tire bay policies and procedures. The role also supports a safe, clean, and positive experience for members and team members, follows club policies, and may perform duties in other departments as needed. The position requires regular, predictable, full attendance. Team members are expected to provide friendly, knowledgeable service, uphold club standards, work collaboratively, and help maintain accurate inventory, scheduling, and service documentation.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills.
- Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
- Ability to lift more than 30 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds frequently and, with assistance, move heavy or awkward objects over 30 pounds.

Responsibilities
- Assist members in selecting and purchasing tires, including verifying tire sizes for their vehicles.
- Mount, dismount, rotate, balance, install, and repair tires properly.
- Dispose of tires according to club procedures.
- Fill propane tanks as needed when certified in accordance with DOT requirements.
- Maintain a clean and professional tire bay and waiting area; merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
- Provide knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk and coordinate with Home Office about member tire needs as needed.
- Maintain accurate supply inventory and use available special-order tire programs appropriately.
- Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
- Follow safety, cleanliness, club, and tire bay policies and procedures, and use tire bay equipment properly.
- Maintain a safe and positive environment for members and team members and address or escalate member concerns appropriately.
- Support daily GOLD Member and club standards, including stocking, promotional execution, accurate signage, and clean, organized spaces.
- Understand how to access and read department production or financial performance reporting and how execution affects business results.
- Perform other assigned duties, including work in other departments as needed.
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
