About The Position

The Tire Sales & Installation Team Member assists members with selecting and purchasing tires, verifies tire sizes for vehicles, and installs and repairs tires. The role includes mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing tires; completing tire bay sales and service documentation; maintaining inventory; and keeping the tire bay and waiting area clean, professional, and safe. The team member provides knowledgeable service at the tire desk, uses special-order tire programs, and coordinates with Home Office about member tire needs when needed. The position may also involve filling propane tanks when certified to do so under DOT requirements, working in other departments as assigned, and performing other duties as assigned. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills.
• Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance.

• Prior tire installation experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist members in selecting and purchasing tires, including verifying tire sizes for vehicles.
• Install tires by mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing them, and perform tire repairs.
• Properly dispose of tires and fill propane tanks when certified under DOT requirements.
• Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
• Provide knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk and coordinate with Home Office regarding member tire needs as needed.
• Maintain accurate and complete supply inventory and appropriately use special-order tire programs.
• Maintain a clean, professional, and safe tire bay and waiting area; merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
• Comply with safety, cleanliness, equipment-use, and club policies and procedures.
• Carry out assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Deliver member service, address concerns, and contribute to a safe and positive environment.
• Work collaboratively to meet club standards and maintain a friendly, positive attitude.
