About The Position

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the club meets the member’s expectations. This role involves leveraging digital tools, operating Point of Sale systems, and providing excellent customer service. You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory, ensuring safety and compliance standards, and assisting members with purchasing decisions.

Requirements

• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests.
• Educate other associates on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians.
• Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, and equipment operations.
• Utilize digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, and elevate associate engagement.
• Communicate equipment, tools, and supplies needs to the TBC Lead.
• Track and monitor returns and special orders.
• Operate cash registers and process transactions.
• Work hands-on in the physical area, maintaining accurate inventory.
• Audit safety and compliance standards.
• Report TBC complaints, safety hazards, and problems with products, services, and work areas.
• Complete paperwork, logs, and other required documentation.
• Ensure merchandise is packaged, labeled, and stored in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Identify member needs and assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve issues and concerns.
• Act as a brand advocate by valuing the members' experience in the TBC area and modeling high-quality service and products.
• Develop, influence, and inspire others for working in a style that is respectful, supportive, and team-oriented.
• Assist in training team members.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
