About The Position

Ascend Staffing is hiring an experienced Precision TIG Welder for a manufacturing company in North Salt Lake, Utah. The role involves precision TIG welding of light-gauge stainless steel, including 18–20 gauge material, while meeting blueprint tolerances and customer and company quality standards. The position works a swing shift Monday through Thursday, 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM, on a four-day, 10-hour schedule. The posting lists a pay rate of $20.90–$28.60 per hour depending on experience; it also separately lists $19.00–$26.00 per hour and says the swing-shift premium is 10% over the day shift. The role requires at least two years of precision TIG welding experience, a high school diploma or GED, English proficiency, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Requirements

At least 2 years of precision TIG welding experience.
Strong blueprint-reading and interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

TIG weld light-gauge stainless material, specifically 18–20 gauge.

Inspect and test welds for quality and compliance.
Verify finished work meets blueprint tolerances and specifications.
