About The Position
JOB SUMMARY: Reads and interprets shop drawings. Fabricates and welds sheet metal parts into completed fixtures. SPECIFIC DUTIES: Reads and interprets shop drawings and documents Maintians a clean and safe work environment Inspects completed items for quality assurance Welds and fabricates sheet metal parts into completed fixtures.
Requirements
- Must pass tig welding practical test.
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Must be able to read tape measure 1/16”.
- Must be able to stand/ walk for 8-10 hours per day
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to work in an area that is not climate controlled in the summer months.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach on occasional basis.
- Must pass drug test.
- Required to furnish welding hood and own hand tools.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma preferred
