About The Position

Currently hiring skilled TIG Welders for long-term industrial projects. The TIG Welder performs TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless-steel pipe systems ranging from 4–6 inches up to 24 inches. Candidates must have recent proven TIG welding experience and be able to successfully pass a 6G welding test. The role is based on a first shift schedule of 40–45 hours per week. Pay is up to $35, depending on experience. The position requires travel to jobsites in Memphis and surrounding areas; travel pay is offered when a jobsite is more than 60 miles from Memphis, TN.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a TIG welder in industrial environments.
• At least 5 years of recent TIG welding experience.
• Ability to pass a 6G weld test.
• Experience welding carbon-steel and stainless-steel pipe.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Strong attention to detail and weld quality.
• Ability to travel to jobsites in Memphis and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on stainless-steel and carbon-steel piping systems.
• Weld pipe systems up to 24 inches.
• Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
• Inspect welds for quality and compliance with project standards.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Follow OSHA and site-specific safety procedures.
